Sacramento H. S. Crocker & Co. 1887 Softcover Very Good with no dust jacket Authorized Edition. Tan wraps, Good Templars' Home for Orphans at Vallejo pictured on rear cover. Signature of Frank A. Davis on front cover and on completed Certificate after title page. The Certificate notes that Frank was a Charter Member of the Constitution Lodge No. 130, located at Berkeley. Frank also signed as C.T. (Chief Templar) and noted No Seal As Yet. Quite scarce, OCLC locates only a handful of copies of various editions and has no listing at all for this issue. ; 4 x 6"; 88 pp; Wraps soiled and edgeworn, missing part of spine covering, pages show wear at corners, no tears, a few pages with brief notes.

Printed at Courier-Journal Book Rooms 1877 First Edition Hardcover Very Good with no dust jacket Earliest result of the 1875 Eighth Annual Session of the National Grange recommendation "That our members may know the laws and usages they are obligated to obey, I deem it advisable that, at an early day, a Digest of our Constitution, laws, usages, and rulings be prepared, under proper supervision, and published in book form." It would have been presented in draft form at the Tenth Annual Session and completed shortly after (March 1, 1877 per the preface). Original black pebbled cloth, blindstamped "Digest" on front. 1877 date on title page. Copyright 1877 by the National Grange of the Patrons of Husbandry. Uncommon in this earliest edition.; 4.5 x 7"; 140 pp; Cloth lightly worn and fraying at edges, signature of prior owner inside front cover, pencil doodles on a page at the rear. Scattered light foxing to some pages.

Stephen Barrett (most likely of Honeoye Falls, a village in Monroe County, New York, and its President from 1841-42). In 1849, Macoy founded Macoy Publishing and Masonic Supply Co.; Macoy Publishing is still in business today.; Little wear to boards, scattered light foxing, unmarked within apart from tipped-in inscrption.
