Extremely scarce look inside flooring and household decoration industry of the time. Gray printed wraps, many ads, including one for S. Sanford and Sons in color, illustrated. This copy is inscribed at the top "For Theodore L. Bailey Jr. Obituary of his Great Grandfather, Theodore Wright Bailey. Born January 2d 1819 Died May 19th 1891". The obituary is indeed found printed in this issue as is a laid in copy of the obituary text. It notes that the deceased was the senior partner of the carpet jobbing firm of Theo. W. Bailey & Co. and that the business will be continued by his sons. ; 10 x 13"; 108 pp; Wraps brittle and edgeworn, spine deteriorating with a few early pages detached from the rest.
