A course taught at the University of Illinois in Urbana. First created under a grant by the POINT Foundation to the Biological Computer Laboratory and arising out of the Departments of Electrical Engineering and of Physiology and Biophysics. Beige stiff wraps, perfect bound, wrap-around illustration offers Details from "Children's Games" by Peter Breugel The Elder, well-illustrated. Taped-in at front is one page containing Preface, First Edition and Preface, Second Edition. Includes Parabook and Metabook (on yellow paper at rear). The Preface to the Second Edition thanks the Spartan Bookstore of the San Jose State University [for] a second edition, identical in content, but reduced in size. This "edition" is unknown to OCLC, with no institutional copies located. It was also apparently unknown to the producers of the 1995 Future Systems "second edition" that was created a decade later. ; 6-3/4" x 8-3/4"; 523 pp; Light wear to covers, limited to the corners. No inscriptions or markings within.
