[San Francisco] [Levi Strauss & Co.] [2002] Hardcover Good with no dust jacket
Gray coated paper over boards, cover titles presented in outline. Presented as a two-sided production, with the Levi's Vintage Clothing product line on one side, and flipped over, the product line for Levi's Red. Each catalog is presented starting with a fold-out that explains the product line and provides and index with a tabular listing of each product including several small feature photos. Remaining pages are photographs of young models (mostly full-color, a few are b&w) in the represented product(s) in very social and sometimes racy situations. At the center is a multi-panel fold-out with additional color photos. No specific publication information, Vintage Clothing description suggests Spring-Summer 2002; Red description suggests Spring/Summer 2001. Scarce, likely produced for limited distribution. Heavy, international extra. ; 10" x 13"; Levi's Vintage Clothing is replicas of the original and definitive jeans brand ... specially handcrafted in our original factory in 250 Valencia Street, San Francisco, California, USA. ; Some wear at corners, worst at upper left where it is abraded. Binding stressed and cracked at contents page for the Vintage side, still functions soundly. Clean and unmarked within. [My cat insisted on a writedown for this item. She imposed her will by chewing on the upper right corner of the binding thus leaving a few puncture marks. The brat is actually proud of her efforts and has offered a color photo of herself to the interested buyer.]
